I always highly recommend having a pest inspection done as part of the home buying process it can save you a ton of money. For example, the home in this video was a rental property I was personally purchasing. I had Filk Pest Control do a pest inspection on the home prior to me purchasing it. Sure enough they found both carpenter Ants and Termites at a cost of well over $1,000 having not done the inspection could have cost me big time. Instead I was able to renegotiate the price and obtained a HUGE price reduction. The $50 pest inspection save me thousands of dollars!
